[Remote] Sales Representative – Cybersecurity Solutions (1099 / Commission Only)

The Sales Representative will independently source and close cybersecurity sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, engage security and compliance decision-makers, educate prospects, and help develop the company’s outbound sales playbook.


Responsibilities

  • Build the Pipeline: Take complete ownership of the top-of-funnel sales cycle. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying 100% of your own leads through aggressive outbound outreach (cold calling, email sequences, reputed company networking)
  • Develop the Playbook: Because we are early-stage, you won’t just execute a strategy, you will help create it. You’ll test messaging, find out what resonates with decisionmakers, and help build Kiken’s outbound sales playbook
  • Engage Decision-Makers: Confidently navigate enterprise, mid-market, or SMB organizations to connect with key security and compliance stakeholders
  • Educate prospects on DLP, DSPM, cloud data security, and compliance best practices
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and data privacy regulations

Skills

  • A Proven Hunter: Y ou don't wait for inbound marketing leads. You know how to independently source target lists, identify key stakeholders, and leverage cold outreach (email, calling, reputed company) to open doors
  • Startup Resilient: You embrace the lack of structured corporate guardrails. You are excited by the challenge of experimenting with sales messaging, identifying what resonates in the market, and helping build our outbound playbook
  • A Cybersecurity Fluent Professional: You can naturally speak the language of data risk, compliance, DLP, privacy regulations and cloud security without needing an engineer on every introductory call
  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity sales experience , with a heavy emphasis on pure outbound prospecting (hunting, not farming)
  • Prior Startup Experience (Required): You thrive in "zero-to-one" environments where processes are still being built. You don't need a massive marketing department to find opportunities; you know how to scrap together your own lists and angles
  • Resilience & Grit: A proven track record of handling the high rejection rates of cold outreach and the persistence required to break into new accounts
  • High Autonomy: A self-motivated professional who doesn't need daily micromanagement to stay on track and hit outreach goals
  • Direct sales of DLP, DSPM, or cloud data security platforms
  • Selling compliance-focused software into healthcare, finance, legal, or highly regulated environments
