Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Design and architect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design architecture blueprints, technical design documents, and implementation plans.
  • Lead the implementation of OCI services including compute, storage, networking, database, and security components.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure to provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
  • Ensure all deployments adhere to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of OCI Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Oracle Resource Manager.
  • Experience architecting and deploying complex, multi-tier applications on OCI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Ability to develop technical design documents and detailed architecture blueprints.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional certifications.
