<strong>Job Summary</strong><br/>Develops clear-written materials to support product development activities such as operations, maintenance or repair manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems | Interviews technical staff to collect product information and specifications | Collects and organizes technical information and product images and coordinates layout for publication | Adheres to agreed terminology, style and editorial quality standards <strong>Impact of the Role</strong><br/>General Profile <ul> <li>Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field </li> <li>Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work</li> <li>Leads others to solve complex problems </li> <li>Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations</li> <li>May lead functional teams or projects</li> <li>Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment</li> </ul> Essential Functions <ul> <li> Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change. </li> <li> Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. </li> <li> Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. </li> <li> Supports quality, engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation. </li> <li> Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. </li> <li> Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction.</li> <li> May utilize an electronic document/record management system.</li> <li> Ability to read contracts and understand requirements of documentation</li> <ul> Required Qualifications <ul> <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li> <li><strong>Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:</strong> Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Bachelor's Degree</li> <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Quality or Business Administration preferred</li> <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Oral and written communication skills.
