Local Public Policy Manager

Meta seeks an experienced leader to build and manage the company's local government affairs efforts in support of our data center site strategy across the United States. In this role, you will lead a team of regional local policy managers responsible for engaging with local governments—including cities, counties, municipalities, and regional bodies below the state level—to advance Meta's data center priorities across existing and future site locations, and to strengthen relationships in the communities where we build and operate. In addition to leading the team, you will personally manage local government engagement for a subset of priority localities. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in local and state public policy, political engagement, and issue advocacy, along with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of internet, technology, infrastructure, and economic development policy, as well as deep knowledge of and passion for Meta's products. This role reports to the Director of State Policy and can be based in Washington, DC; Austin, TX; or remote in Texas. Frequent travel is required.
