Lead Producer, Publishing – 6-month Contract

Job Description:

  • Partner with development studios and internal publishing functions to drive milestone delivery
  • Keep cross-functional work aligned across high-profile AAA titles
  • Manage day-to-day execution across features, workstreams, or an entire title
  • Steer project plans and manage scope, schedule, and cost tradeoffs
  • Identify, surface, escalate, and resolve risks
  • Build relationships across studio and publishing teams and surface misalignment early
  • Write and present stakeholder updates, decks, milestone documents, and reports
  • Advocate for player experience and incorporate player impact into prioritization
  • Track quality risks and drive resolution of known issues across platforms
  • Report to the Executive Producer

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in game production, publishing production, product management, or a related discipline with experience over a title's full lifecycle, including post-launch
  • Experience with live service titles or ongoing content pipelines
  • Comfort working across distributed teams and time zones
  • Track record partnering with developers and internal publishing groups (Marketing, BD, QA, Research, etc.)
  • Ability to manage schedules and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, spot risk early, and triage it quickly
  • Strong writing and meeting-leadership skills, with ability to build alignment through documentation
  • Ability to earn trust across partners through clear communication and a player-first lens
  • Passion for games and ability to articulate what “great” looks like for a genre
  • Experience managing feature-level budgets or financial workflows is a plus
  • Bonus: development and publishing-side production experience
