Key Account Manager – National Distributors - Remote

<p>Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. MAPEI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager – National Distributors to develop and grow our Construction & Restoration Systems (CRS) business through assigned national distribution accounts across the United States. This role will develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with corporate, regional, and local decision-makers, and collaborate with MAPEI’s sales and product teams to increase product penetration, develop new business, and drive sales growth throughout national distributor networks.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned national distributors, translating national initiatives into measurable growth across regions and branches.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, regional, and local distributor management and key decision-makers.</li><li>Collaborate with MAPEI Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Leaders, Product Line Managers, and CRS Specialists to identify and develop sales opportunities throughout the United States.</li><li>Analyze performance by distributor, region, branch, and product category and develop action plans to improve underperforming areas.</li><li>Identify new business opportunities involving contractors, projects, and customers throughout distributor networks.</li><li>Coordinate sales programs, product launches, promotions, training, demonstrations, and other growth initiatives.</li><li>Partner with Product Line Managers to support appropriate product offerings, positioning, and pricing for assigned accounts.</li><li>Conduct business reviews, monitor competitive activity, and represent MAPEI at distributor meetings, sales events, and trade shows.</li><li>Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>What's in it for you</u></strong></p><ul><li>In this role, you will earn a competitive annual base salary between $110,000 to $160,000 based on your experience and qualifications.</li><li>This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is a variable percentage of your base salary, based on individual performance and company results.</li><li>Monthly auto allowance and fuel card</li><li>FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE for our employees or the option of a highly competitive medical plan with minimal monthly employee contributions and zero deductibles</li><li>17 Days of paid, sick and vacation time annually (days are prorated in year one).</li><li>401K retirement with up to 6% matching program.</li><li>Excellent dental, vision programs, flex spending accounts, employer paid life insurance and free tele-med physician services.</li><li>Various other company employee-centric perks initiatives; tuition reimbursement programs, discounted home/auto insurance programs, supplemental life insurance, and more</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of seven years of sales, business development, or key account management experience in construction materials or a related industry.</li><li>Proven sales experience working with national construction distributors.</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction materials and national distribution channels.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies and grow key accounts.</li><li>Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.</li><li>Proficient with Windows-based PCs, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as CRM software and internet navigation.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran (M/F/D/V)</p><p><br></p>
