A growing freight forwarding business is looking for an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder to join their team on a fully remote basis.

The business is continuing to grow and is looking for someone who can take ownership of their day-to-day freight forwarding operations while helping support further growth.

The Role
  • Managing multimodal freight shipments from start to finish
  • Handling Ocean and Road import and export shipments
  • Liaising with customers, carriers, overseas agents and suppliers
  • Arranging bookings and managing shipping documentation
  • Obtaining and negotiating freight rates
  • Managing customer queries and resolving operational issues
  • Ensuring shipments move efficiently and to schedule
  • Supporting the continued growth of the business
About You
  • Previous experience within freight forwarding
  • Ocean import and export experience is essential
  • Road freight experience is essential
  • Multimodal freight forwarding background
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Commercially minded and proactive
