<p><strong>HR Projects & Policy Officer</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid working (East Anglia - 3:2)</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time (37 hours per week)</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Fixed Term - 6-month FTC</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Projects & Policy Officer to join a Higher Education institution, supporting a range of strategic people initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>Working closely with senior HR leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering HR projects, supporting organisational change programmes, developing HR policies and ensuring employment practices remain aligned with legislation and sector best practice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support the planning and delivery of HR projects and organisational change initiatives.</li><li>Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation.</li><li>Coordinate consultation activities and work collaboratively with HR colleagues, senior stakeholders and Trade Unions.</li><li>Produce project plans, reports, communications and governance documentation.</li><li>Support the implementation of new HR policies through guidance, toolkits, training and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Analyse HR data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We're looking for someone who has:</p><ul><li>Experience working within an HR environment with exposure to HR policy development or implementation.</li><li>Strong project management and organisational skills.</li><li>A sound understanding of UK employment legislation.</li><li>Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear policies, reports and guidance.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.</li><li>Experience supporting organisational change or HR projects.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Experience within Higher Education or the wider public sector.</li><li>Experience working in a unionised environment.</li><li>CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).</li><li>Experience delivering briefings or training sessions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to combine policy development, project delivery and organisational change within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.</p>
