Full-time | Home-based | United Kingdom | 6 month maternity cover | Salary £24,000 per annum

MIMI & LULA is a fast-growing children’s accessories brand, selling to customers and retailers in the UK and internationally.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and highly accurate General Admin Assistant to join us on a 6 month maternity cover contract , supporting several areas of the business including Buying, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Marketing.

This would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their career who is looking to gain broad experience within the fashion, accessories or retail industry.

We’re a small, busy team, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, take ownership of their workload and help wherever needed.

About you

You don’t necessarily need previous experience in a similar role. We’re more interested in finding someone bright, organised and enthusiastic who is keen to learn.

You’ll ideally be:

Highly organised and thorough , with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and product data Accurate and methodical, even when working at pace Confident using Excel and quick to learn new systems A strong communicator who is comfortable working as part of a remote team Self-motivated and able to manage your workload independently Proactive about spotting errors, chasing information and getting things completed Comfortable juggling regular weekly tasks alongside changing priorities Happy working in a small business where everyone pitches in Interested in fashion, accessories, retail and ecommerce Keen to learn and interested in gaining experience across different areas of a growing brand

Previous experience in administration, retail, ecommerce, Buying, Merchandising, Marketing or a head-office environment would be useful but is not essential .

Working pattern

This is a full-time, 6 month maternity cover role , working across five days per week on a home-based basis.

As the role is fully remote, you’ll need to be comfortable working independently while remaining responsive and closely connected to the wider team throughout the working day.

Why MIMI & LULA?

You’ll be joining a friendly, entrepreneurial team in a growing international business.

Because we’re a small team, this role offers the opportunity to gain genuine exposure to different areas of the business – including Buying, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Marketing – rather than being confined to one narrow function.

For someone at the beginning of their career, it’s a great opportunity to understand how a fashion and product business works from the inside, gain practical commercial experience and build a broad range of skills over the course of the contract.
