We work at the intersection of customer data, AI, and commercial impact, building products that turn insight into measurable growth.

About the Role

As Content Design Lead, you'll lead the evolution of content design as a strategic product capability, shaping clear, trusted and scalable experiences that help users make better decisions with confidence.

You'll set direction for help documentation and in-product guidance, terminology, taxonomy and interaction patterns, ensuring they work together across human-facing, AI-powered and agentic experiences. You'll connect content practice to product strategy, business goals and measurable outcomes.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead Content Design from early problem definition through delivery, establishing the information architecture and content systems needed for intelligent, scalable product experiences.

  • Lead content strategy and design across complex digital products, moving between strategic direction and hands-on delivery.
  • Architect information structures, taxonomies, metadata models and structured-content approaches that support discoverability, reuse and consistent experiences across products, headless CMS platforms and digital adoption tools.
  • Shape AI-powered experiences, including conversational journeys, prompts, agent behaviours, response patterns and human hand-offs.
  • Define evaluation frameworks for AI-generated and agent-delivered content, covering usefulness, accuracy, safety, digital accessibility, consistency and user trust.
  • Align content with semantic and data layers, partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Data, AI and technical architecture colleagues.
  • Establish scalable content operations, using appropriate AI-assisted workflows while maintaining editorial standards, governance and meaningful human oversight.
  • Develop standards and reusable patterns for terminology, help, guidance, interaction content and structured content across the product ecosystem.
  • Use evidence from research, analytics, experimentation and continuous discovery to improve user and business outcomes.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced content design leader with deep information architecture expertise and the ability to shape content for both people and AI systems.

  • Significant information architecture experience, including designing taxonomies, metadata, navigation models, ontologies or structured-content systems for complex digital products.
  • Advanced content design expertise across end-to-end product journeys, complex information and interaction patterns.
  • Experience shaping AI-powered content experiences, such as conversational interfaces, prompt design, agent experiences, retrieval experiences or AI-assisted content workflows.
  • Understanding of semantic content and how content structures connect with data models, search, retrieval and product architecture.
  • Experience defining AI-content quality measures, evaluation criteria or governance, with a strong approach to accuracy, safety, digital accessibility and human oversight.
  • Systems thinking that connects individual content decisions to reusable patterns, design systems, content operations and the wider product ecosystem.
  • Collaborative leadership and strong influencing skills across Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Data and AI disciplines.
  • Evidence-led practice, using research, analytics and experimentation to improve content and demonstrate impact.

You'll Thrive If You…

  • Enjoy moving between strategic direction, information architecture and detailed content design.
  • Can translate complex technical, semantic and AI concepts into clear product decisions and practical standards and align to product goals.
  • Look for systemic improvements rather than repeatedly solving the same content problem.
  • Are comfortable establishing responsible practice where patterns for AI-powered experiences are still emerging.
  • Can make a clear case for content decisions
